Well, it was precise, in that he did it to one car. Unfortunately, it wasn't accurate, in that the target was completely wrong.

We can acknowledge the benefit while still keeping both classes of party honest. The dichotomy you propose is unnecessary.

Custom ROMs are limited due to closed nature. Make sure whatever you want to load on it explicitly supports the chip before you buy, of that's your thing.
