Just google "bin laden freedom fighter", it turns out he was both at different times...
I put "furiously happy" by Jenny Lawson aside for a while. It is a good book, just not for a read in one go. It's also short stories, so I'll get back to it later. Started "Rama 2" by Gentry Lee (it says Arthur C Clarke, but my guess is he only lended his name). About 20% through so far. It's okay, nothing special so far. Also still listening to "the eye of the Bedlam bride", about 2/3 through. That one is still good!
You're welcome!
I really love this poncho.
Turning 50 in two months. Every opportunity to celebrate something should be taken is how I felt about every "milestone" so far.
I browse through the federated list, and see posts from all instances I haven't blocked. Sometimes I'll comment, and one time I got feedback it was a women only instance. I blocked that one, since it wasn't for me. I never see community rules (they're in the sidebar, I know), and besides, if I have to read the rules each time before commenting, I might as well give up on lemmy.
So, probably I'm not paying attention, that's what the fuck is wrong with me.
Or the Irish in the Uk, or whoever in whichever country. For me, my family (wife and kids) come first, then my neighbourhood, my village, my minucipality, my country and so on. It's the same for everyone, which is fine as long as you acknowledge it and act accordingly.
Had some Altra trail shoes for hiking, but had to give them due to heel spurs. They were great for the wide noses since I have wide feet. They also wore dow quite fast, which was not so great.
Knowing Ryanair, they'll charge extra for it.
Artist's name, which is cropped off: Anton Gudim.
Not saying that it is the case here, but if a girl online is asking everything about a guy, but is vague about herself, sometimes they're trying to scam the guy into giving gifts or money. So, be careful.
