Dinner with Kim cannot be commoditized by your worthless fiat dollars. The spirit of communism is too strong.

Money is temporary but quality Korean food lives inside me forever.

I mean, it makes me think they've never actually met a woman before and are just going off of anime.

From the folks that brought you "Making the deserts bloom".

Mahmoud Abdullah, another farmer, has acres of grape vines just next to Omar’s trees. He hadn’t been allowed to pick the fruits since October 7. But on the morning of October 30, nothing was left to harvest because his vines had been crushed into the soil. Settlers vandalized everything on the Palestinian hills surrounding their colony, Efrat.

Idk, I rarely see someone disappointed at a gender reveal party. "Aw? Pink smoke? Sucks to you be you, shitbag" is not the standard response to someone hosting a big party in celebration of their next kid.

Admittedly, I don't typically associate with families that think they are the next House of Windsor and needed a suitable number of male heirs to maintain the dynasty. So maybe you really do get people throwing little temper tantrums because they didn't get the gender of child they wanted. But it has mostly seemed like an excuse to make a loud bang noise, release some colored smoke and confetti, and clap without any real consideration for what the gender will be.

So many of these bureaucrats are terrified of him, in no small part because you can bank on the bailiff and at least half the sheriff's deputies in the building are sporting "Blue Lives" bumper stickers and posting Jan 6th selfies on instagram.

Trump gets to brazenly defy the courts because he's got the kind of popular support that other politicians have forgotten is even possible. He's a very modern incarnation of a mafioso boss, with all that that implies.

One of the more common practices is to simply insource the consultants. There's a perverse incentive, wherein you're paying $300/hr for a guy getting paid $40/hr, so you eventually realize you can offer them a 50% raise and achieve 80% savings in a single stroke.

I won't truly feel fulfilled in this life until someone posts an angry message like that about one of my alts.

Actually, now that I think of it, getting kicked from /r/Libertarian back in 2016 because I had too much karma from shitposting was in the ballpark.

Nobody fucking knows how anything works. Nobody knows who is supposed to know. Your boss pays $300/hr for a consulting firm to send another fresh-out-of-college-kid to tell you why the system you bought from a vendor who has produced exactly zero application guidance is malfunctioning, and that kid will spend the next two weeks learning how the damned thing works right alongside you.

This has been my life implementing the latest edition of RightAngle for the last two years. Just a stack of expensive third-party 20-somethings saying "Ah, fuck, never seen that before, let me get back with you in a week."

Curious to hear how quiet guys like Zizek and Chompsky have become in the last three months.

Obviously, the solution is to simply not do that. Don't watch the Gaza footage. Don't listen to Israeli politicians. Don't pay attention to the rhetoric from Israel's defenders. Fixate exclusively on some Arab teenager in a balaclava carrying an AK, then tell yourself "This person wants to do a Full Hitler and we must eliminate him at all costs".

Fully internalize the narratives of the Iraq War, by labeling everyone standing under an Israel bomb or in the path of a sniper's bullet as an "enemy combatant", without exception.
