I can't help but notice that within a couple of weeks before Pakistani officials are ready to rig an election to kick out the popular incumbent, Imran Khan, we've got an exchange of fire on their border and a slew of media stories indicting Iran as an existential threat to Pakistan's existence.
I do not envy the fate of the Pakistani people if the military gets a tighter grip on the national assembly. The last thing that country needs is an open war with their neighbors.
