I wonder how many Republicans would be unseated with rank choice voting....
The more overworked people are the more willing they are to take intellectual shortcuts and not think independently. One of those shortcuts is to mistake a contrarian opinion as independent thought. Throw in a contrarian leader into an economy where people are overworked and this is the result.
And sometimes even little girls.
Judging from the YouTube comments they are hitting their mark. Lots of people mistaking being contrarian for being independent though, like in the case of COVID vaccines and makes wearing.
Reminds me of the adage:

This video refines the idea to say stupidity isn't a psychological phenomenon but a problem that is constructed by society.
If media bubbles didn't dominate the landscape they would see common cause with the farm workers who also don't like breathing pesticides when working in the fields.
