Solar Jetman for the NES. A really unique game that was well ahead of it's time, featuring exploration, problem solving, cut-scenes, great music, and multiple planets to explore with different gravities. Your mission is to repair your spacecraft by finding missing parts, and you can use a small craft or leave the vehicle and boost around with a jetpack with your spacesuit.
Great description, this sounds fantastic.
Being able to solve a situation in multiple creative and unique ways is awesome. I love when games let you do this kinda thing.
I play pretend, two hand touch football, Frisbee, study ant hills, build snow forts, sandcastles, etc. Who said being an adult meant no fun would be had?
For realsies, what a creative piece of art.
Anyone who doesn't know about the available control schemes built-in to the game should explore them all. Beyond that, you can youse WSAD+Mouse on via emulation.
I've gone thru a few models, this series of devices has been great to work with. Easy to upgrade, simple design, and sturdy.
Good point, there is in fact an XGP release too. I haven't had the pleasure...
Hard as hell, super fun, and makes you work for it. Pretty great game all around!
Wow, a c64 port? Great info, thanks for sharing.
