Word. Just give me a completed game that is mostly bug free and has all features that are alleged to be part of the game on release.

It's also rumored they're working on Half-Life 3. Let's see what happens first. 😉

I've never gone away from buying physical media, but I could understand exactly why you would want to return to it.

I don't feel good about not having the ability to do what I want with my games; the idea of games being "mine" goes away if I cannot buy, sell, resell, loan, copy, backup, modify or destroy it.

I'm not sure how a digital gaming subscription service can compete with that no matter how cheap or how good the library is or how long the service is proposed to exist.

Being able to do whatever you want with your physical media is so incredibly freeing. Seems like many born after the 90s don't seem to quite have a grasp on what that's like.

Never would I ever subscribe to a game service. That's just me.

What is this world coming to?

Weirdly sped up video, but kinda interesting

Thanks for the context. Also, wtf

I don't think I understand any of what's being said here. Don't know the term, don't know the references being made in the post.

So, what's everyone using to manage their collections? Text files, spreadsheets, or what? I've been using GamEye for a few years, and love it.

So, which version do you prefer? N64? The XBLA leak? Swich Online?

I think I like them all, however, my favorite will always be the N64 release. So many great memories of proximity mines in the temple, or Oddjob slapping the shit out of me from a dark corner

I like them all, but inside my heart of hearts, my real favorite would probably be

spoilerPerfect Dark.
