Boost is perfect, I used jerboa for a long time and is too buggy for me
How this will impact piracy?
I have the entire archive of RARGB (800Mb) and i am still seeding it. If you know how to use it, can still be useful.

SMPlayer will do that, althought i am not sure about the playlist thing but it will defenitely remember where you where in the file
