So retarded! I've stopped buying anything that connects to internet. The only thing in my household that connects to internet is my PC and phone.

Don't, you don't need a new phone as phones have reached peak performance. I would suggest you to try installing graphene OS or any other custom roms from XDA. If you dont know how then ask someone who's tech savvy and they will make your old phone, a brand new phone.
