I am so tired of watching Aussie TV channels. No quality material and full of shitty content. For even news- 9news, 7news, ABC all kept going on about Taylor swift all day. No quality news reporting at all. Thanks to YouTube , my go to channel for news now is DW and France 24. European channels are the best in my opinion.

I've read many posts asking users to download Firefox but when a noob like me goes to google play store, it shows Firefox collects user activity, location and other data but for Brave it says that Brave doesn't collect any data or share any data. A company like google must do a thorough investigation before putting an app of their play store. Experts who hold degree in computer science, data science etc and are privacy advocates please explain me why not to use Brave?

Anyone banking with Me Bank should be aware of the trick the bank ispulling. I have a home loan with Me bank and every time I call them I have to wait minimum of 1 hour on hold. So I thought let's try calling them early in the morning, mid day and in the evening before they close. All had the same result - around 1 hour hold. Tried on 8 different days and same result. Now its time to discharge my loan from them to some other bank

Checked Fediverse Observer and whole bunch of server has been decommissioned because of which users can't login and because they can't login , Lemmy is losing active users. Any plans to fix this ? I am more concerned about the content thats lost.

I recently joined a company and when I joined there's another girl in the similar position and we both report to X. After few month I found out the girl and X were is some sort of weird sexual relationship whereby they will stay back after 5pm. Go for lunch together , girl all dolled up on X's bday. Now X moved to a different department because of a project and made the girl ,the manager. Now girl is dumb af. Doesn't understand anything technical nor have any managerial experience. The only reason she's a manager is because of the relationship wirh X. I am now frustrated and overworked because of her poor decisions and no managerial skills. On top of that when I joined she has more than 400 task pending and because I have been closing all my task , she asked me to close hers. I did some but because of her erractic behavior and because she creates__ a toxic environment. I stopped and now she's asking me to work on stuff which I haven't got any training on and no support from her. Really frustrated and just want to quit.
