It's amazing how much factual information you can find in western sources when you know where to look. The genius of western propaganda though is that majority of people will not read these sources, and will react the way we see a lot of people in this thread reacting when presented with them. There's no need for censorship because people censor themselves collectively. This is the ultimate brainwashing the west managed to achieve.

This political system you made up sounds fascinating.

Imagine thinking oligarchs control China 😂

Of course it is, the article states that 40 million people a monthly bill for roughly 350, anybody capable of doing basic math can see that accounts for 14 billion.

It will likely be for borrowers when the pandemic-era policy expires. Around 40 million Americans have debt from their education. The typical monthly bill is roughly $350.

Then the article provides the following chart showing that the total debt is 1.8 trillion

Sorry, you can’t have democracy without basic political agency. You can’t have basic political agency without the ability to speak freely.

Somebody should let people like Assange, Manning, and Snowden know that they can speak freely.

Picking between three party approved technocrats is not sufficient for political self determination.

Ah yes, real democracy is picking between parties owned by the oligarchs. 😂

Just stating basic facts bro.

I am not comparing right versus left. I am asking about the practical applications of the pin factory scenario

And I've given you a practical plan USSR put out for reducing the work week. I'm really not sure what specifically you're asking at this point. In a socialist country, the sole purpose of production is to create things that improve the lives of the people in that country. When automation makes so that there is less time required to produce things then people get more free time. USSR had over 20 days vacation as a standard and people had guaranteed retirement by 60, while things such as working overtime were pretty much unheard of. People in USSR worked far less than people in capitalist states do today.

Business does not cease to exist in a socialist state, it only operates under different management.

The nature of enterprise is completely different in a socialist state because the goal is not to create wealth for people who own the enterprise, but to produce things that people living in the state need to live.

You're also conflating management structures with the economic system here. The first step is to create economic relations that create correct incentives which is what a socialist state with a publicly owned economy accomplishes. Only then can any discussion be had about what the best way to manage work is.

All I’m getting as an answer is philosophical statements that I mostly agree with, but no examples of practical implementation

Again, I've linked you a concrete example of implementation in USSR, I'm assuming you did not even bother opening the link.

Claiming that China and USSR aren't socialist quite clearly illustrates that you do not in fact know what socialism is.

It's as if western style liberal democracy is an inherently unstable political system.
