That is an even more finicky situation. Roman Catholic priests cannot marry, but Eastern Catholic priests can, and there are exemptions that can be made for Roman Catholic converts. On top of that, you may have seen a “high church” protestant group (looks like a Catholic Church) like Anglicans who generally can marry or date.

I just blocked them and moved on. It’s just insane it took so long for the admins to finally ban them.

Brightline is Florida’s highspeed rail line between Orlando (Theme Parks) and Miami. It opened recently and has destroyed many cars and trucks that sit at stoplights on the train tracks.

For another example, there is an exact inverse in America. “Texas German” is much closer to how German was spoken around the time of German unification. Same with Quebec to French.

I know, unlike our Canadian system. You are not automatically registered to vote in most of the states. Plus republicans believe liberal states are purposely registering immigrants who shouldn’t be voting and letting them use the state IDs.

It’s an older concept dating back to England called the privilege of sanctuary . Places of worship and refuge, no force could be used on the consecrated grounds of churches. While offically banned in the early 1600s most officials still abided by it into colonial era and the American Revolution.

Non-citizens can attain a drivers license, so republicans believe there is the chance non-citizens might sneak there vote past unsuspecting poll workers.

Something similar happens in the sequel to The Forever War. The main character and his wife are fed up living on a colony controlled by the shared conciousness names Man. So they decide to take a ship into near light speed for the equivalent of 300000 years, only to be stopped by god, told god was bored and that he was going to leave them all behind, then changing physics to prevent them from going so far into the future.

So this doesn’t work for a variety if reasons. The biggest being stability. Investigator is a technical and important job, you need a certain level of IQ and EQ to perform the role effectively. No one with a good combination of intelligence and know how would wait around for 90 days for their job to reopen. You would immediately lose them to the private sector. Police retain people based on job security and home life stability, especially as you climb the ranks. Second, this does not account for when no qualified candidates are found. Police departments are often understaffed now for these roles. There’s also no greater command structure. If higher rolls have a similar system you are even less likely to find qualified candidates. It will eventually debase into the same two peopke running everytime and just becoming the full time investigators anyway. Something similar will happen with your consultants. Either every group will need the same small pool or they will just eventually be the go to corruptible person. On top of all this you still need beat cops or patrol officers, which despite their current reputation in America do provide valuable services to the community. A first responder sitting at home doesn’t help anyone one when seconds matter most.

Actually it was originally a decoration thing. The American consumer wanted the eggs to look nicer, and the only way they could make the eggs look nicer was to strip the protective layer, making them the uniform single colour look seen. It’s also why they are more fragile.

Actually no Yao Guai in game have two heads. Though it should be noted the only Yao Guai you run into when playing are balck bears, so possibly grizzly bears as depicted on the flag do get two heads.
