The wealthy are scared and they are directing their minions to implement this.

You see things like this more and more, when the housing market in Canada really started shifting and climbing in costs, the same systems were put in place in the UK and in Aus, NZ. To me it seemed too coordinated, is the same everytime one of the 5 eyes starts something and tries to make it seem like it's to "protect the children" or whatever.

They are so scared of the people riding up against the ultra wealthy, this is why it is being done. It is a coordinated effort, they debt it and try to pretend they are being strong against the TACO regime, but that is only a show for their citizens, when really they're putting all of this in place. They know their in trouble with all the lies and theft affairs their people, most likely mass layoffs are coming in the next few years and they want to be able to have a nice big list of names of who to go after.

The entire political systems globally need to change to allow everyone to have a decent standard of living.

Is there really a more corrupt country in the world, we know Russia, Ukraine used to be (maybe still is ), and I'm sure many others that we think it believe to be corrupt, but when really looking at what is going in in America I think they top the cake. Yeah I'm sure they spin it so it has a justified reason but I think that's all smoke and mirrors.

They need to be added to some type of list.

Yeah should have been done a long time ago, but Canada had to wait to see what everyone else is doing first.

Shame on all governments and world leaders for allowing and in some cases assisting in this tragedy.

Well then if they are going to have a problem funding it, they need to start taxing inheritances. I know that as a country we operate a PONZI scheme, but with the way the youth if the country are going to get fucked by the boomers (not every boomer) then the boomers should have taxes increased on what they plan to leave to their kids. Now it's easier to say than do because there will be a significant amount of boomers who can't afford to retire let alone leave anything to their kids.

This is what happens when a certain group do not pay their fair share of taxes, and those fucks are corporations.

Trickle down bullshit, the system needs a major change.

BC will probably do the same as every other province, pay big bucks for experts and consultants and we will still have a shit healthcare system with no improvements because there is no reason to improve it as long as the leaches can keep milking the cash from it (BTW, same can be said for homelessness).

So sad in a country as wealthy as this, that this can happen.

I hope the lawsuit is successful, and they learn they need to provide the healthcare services to the people. It would not be an easy fix for sure, but I don't see anyone really trying to change it, just more lies and BS to let American style healthcare into the country.

The crisis in healthcare has been known to be coming right along with the baby boomers increase in age, and it has only gotten worse. There has been no real plans on fixing the system because they don't want it fixed.

People are going to emerge when it isn't needed because they have no family docs, and real triage doesn't seem to happen, tell people to go home if they shouldn't be there, setup more 24 7 clinics, train and hire people to stay in their community.

I'm sure this time he will do it, because by the time he gets around to it everyone will be dead or moved to some other concentration camp. Just like every other governmental authority who is scared of upsetting their donors.

An absolute tragedy unfolding in front of the world and nothing is being done to stop it.

People will look back at this time and hang their heads in shame that this happened, similar to how people fell about the Holocaust.

And they say life is precious, well I suppose on precious to whom?

And it is amazing how many pieces of shit are out there. Shane on all the governments just going along with it.

The way everyone is going on about punching Nazis in the face, you would think that it's start catching on with people denying this tragedy.

Ok even if it was plausible for Alberta to separate, nevermind the legal BS with indigenous groups and those who are not for it, why would the oil rich province of Alberta need any fucking money from the US or anyone else. Really, go into servitude and debt for made up out of thin air money when we are sitting on the second largest supply of oil in the world (other than the fact that we throw ridiculous amounts of tax breaks and funding for oil companies to take our resources and make massive profits from it).

Look I am proud to be a Canadian, however I am very disappointed in our politicians and parties. The government has been fully 100% captured by business as people believed that having someone smart enough to run a company must be good to bring that same financial attitude into government.

The problem is that it is now concerned only for business and corporations and the people are seen as just the means to transfer government money (which only comes from taxpayers, and let's not get into all the tax loopholes that corporations get) to corporations.

I get it, business need to make money, people need to make money, governments need money, but not all services provided by governments are going to be in the black and nor should they be. If governments or politicians really would stop bending over backwards for their own benefit then all of Canada (or most countries for that matter) would be further ahead. But in this world the almighty investor and the corrupt politicians are shitting on the citizens because their greed cannot be satisfied.

We can't build shit cause the countries are broke, and it makes sense when you look at how the tax laws changed and corporations started paying shit all. Why are corporations granted the almighty right to huge profits on the backs of the people without fair compensation.

I get that this is not a new phenomenon but it needs to change, just like when people got rid of Kings (or at least relegated them to figureheads). Democracy, freedom where has it gone. Imagine, the government cannot spy on you without reason but hey some corporation put in some bullshit legalese into a 400 of contract (to use a calculator app etc) and some corrupt judge says it fine and now they can spy on you and manipulate you and sell everything to one of their 685 trusted partners (who probably have another 509 trusted partners each) and that is perfectly fine, oh and the government can buy that info.

Fuck me, we had the potential to lift everyone up and I mean everyone, but the greed of a few cannot be satisfied. Well if you ask me the few should be very fucking scared about what they are bringing on themselves, when you have no hope or future and nothing left to lose what will happen. This is why they are being so hard on Mangionne, they're scared and they want to make sure you get the message, you are a serf and they are the kings, step out of line and watch out.

The entire system needs to be changed for the betterment of mankind not just the elite.

Edit to allow my typing to catch up to my thoughts.

$150k for a glorified station wagon, how the hell did we get here that vehicles are so expensive and the manufacturers still whine about not making money. This world is so fucked it's not even funny.

[–] xzot746@sh.itjust.works 11 points 1 week ago

Did not read the article but of course they did. Fear not our government will do nothing to remedy the situation, wouldn't want to upset those in real power.

Or hear me out, they can fix it and spin it as having no micro plastics and charge you a dollar more. 100% free of micro plastics, your health is worth the extra buck or two!

The CFS upgrade kit is showing in stock on the Canadian store site.

I have a K1 Max and mostly it is running great, however I get strange artifacts on mostly only the front side of curved objects.

I have lubed all the rods, and I have a Capricorn PTFE tube from the filament sensor to the hot end. I tried the printable guide for the tube to go into the hot end but it wasn't any better and I thought that was the culprit at first.

I have an extension piece to raise up the top glass.

I'm using Elegoo Rapid PTEG running at 240c and 250mm outerwall speed. This is mainly happening on the front side and anywhere on the build plate. Filament is dry and fed out of the Creality Space dryer.

These items are small netcups but it was also happening on the larger sections that they go in.

Using Orcaslicer and Arachne wall generator.

Any ideas where I need to be focusing my attention on?

Hey all, working on a Corne Choc, and having issues flashing the right half of the board with QMK Toolbox.

I am getting a validating error with:

822 invalid byte in program region, 0 outside region

This is the second controller as I had the same error on the first and assumed I ruined it when I was troubleshooting it and desoldering.

Ordered a new board and same issue.

I've cleared the EEPROM, there are not shorts or bad solder on the headers. This is a completely separate PCB.

Tried using QMK MSYS to reflash ISP (not sure I got that right, don't really understand it).

Get a blue led indicating power, reset button works to put it into bootloader mode, still nothing will flash on it.

Unfortunately on the first go round I had soldered headers to swap but was too tall for me, desoldered the boards and went directly to the PCB, as mentioned this is a new board on a new PCB, did not program prior to soldering.

Hey all, building a corne chocolate with Kailh switches. I ordered SK6812Mini-E RGBs. The issue is that to bottom mount the LEDs it looks as though the ground tab (shorter tapered with notch) is in the wrong corner. It would work if I were mounting them on top, but there is no room for the LED. I'm assuming that I need new LEDs to mount from the bottom.

The PCB is Chocolate v2.1. I am looking to see if anyone can verify that the solder tab on the pcb with the little white box around it needs to match the tapered tab on the LED or the ground pin.
