You'll learn nuance one day, friend. Don't give up and keep reading about things.

My four year old low-end test device running Android had its assistant switched out from Google Assistant to Gemini. I was very surprised since I'd assumed that the vendor had stopped supporting it since it was so cheap, but it updated anyway.

Why are you being downvoted for this? In stock devices the user has no way to even start looking at what is being run. All you can do is trust the manufacturer.

They are TOO good

I love to bake and I love baked goods. Thankfully, I'm not highly food motivated, but I cannot walk past a croissant and not want one. Even thinking about one now gives me a familiar pang, but I can recognize that for what it is now.

I've not measured my sauna endurance, and did not realize that being in good metabolic health would improve that. I'll see how long I last next time I'm in a sauna!

Thank you for sharing, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that feels like this sometimes. I have a breath ketone meter that helps keep me on track; I'm not sure how accurate it is, but it's very consistent. If you haven't tried one maybe give it a go, mine wasn't too expensive. I used to wear a continuous glucose monitor, but that's more expensive and a lot more work.

Like a degenerate I kept putting food into my delivery app, looking at it, looking at different options

This is an oddly specific shared experience but I know how this feels too. It's sad that our gig economy tech is enabling our compulsions for food that has been deliberately engineered to make us want more of it at all times.

Some cheese on top of that and you have a feast.

I've failed at getting into any Battle Royale, Survival, or Extraction type game so far.

That's because in many cases it often doesn't and can even lead to a worse life depending on your priorities.

As part of the industrialized lifestyles, could it be the consumption of industrialized foods? Our bodies likely cannot deal with the externalities of industrial farming. Ultraprocessed foods such as industrially refined oils are entirely novel.

It doesn't seem like such a stretch that human bodies then respond with inflammation to try to remove the unfamiliar, to me.
