IDF: "Where is hamas?"

Chatgpt: "I don't have knowledge of specific events or developments that occurred after my knowledge cutoff date of January 2022."

IDF: "is it where the food trucks are?"

Chatgpt: "I don't have sufficient information."

IDF: "just say yes"

Chatgpt: "yes."

Instead of reading a manual file for the badrillionth time, I ask it how a shell command should be formated. If it is easy, it gets it right away and I say "oh, yea, that's right". If it is hard, I still get a starting point and can correct it fairly quickly. I ask it for translations when learning a new language, which I've been doing lately. This it excel at. Even languages that conventional machine translation fails at. I asked chatgpt for Minecraft blocks with some specific set of desirable redstone properties that I didn't want to dig through a wiki to find. This one had varying success. It is not aware of every odd redstone secret, but it can spit out something useful if you are lucky. I had a quick poem made for one of my rp characters. We had a 5 minute break and I wanted something that made sense for the next scene. Some quick directions to the LLM and a little shoveling paragraphs around and there you go.

I also have tried some light rp with the ai for entertainment. I tried merging harry potter and star trek once. It was mildly entertaining.

If you know how they are dumb and where they kinda work, you can get stuff done. Especially if the answers are easily verifiable. That about summs up how I use them.

When people hear the words 'not sustainable', I fear that they are not grasping what that implies. If humanity keeps procrastinating on these issues, we are gonna have a bad time.

community leaders have said people do not understand their customs and tradition.

I think critics understand their traditions. They just don't agree with them. The law of the land doesn't agree with it.

The legal minimum age to get married in Ghana is 18

So he is breaking the law. So jail then? No?

Surely there is no way to install steam on linux and download stuff off that installation without revealing that you are doing it on a linux machine. I mean you are either requesting a linux build of the game from their server or you are downloading some wine/proton components or configurations. Right?

I use my stuff until it breaks. I repair my stuff. I don't buy apple. I read reviews before I buy. I support strong regulation.

Who wants a death sentence before turning 30?

Teaching should be one of the most well compensated professions out there. It is literally the single most important investment a society can make. It is insane to me that we are cheaping out on it. It is in teaching where people should be competing to get the positions. An astronaut should be paid less and have less prestige. Of course we want our best and brightest teaching our population.

America could solve allot of its societal problems by just swapping its military budget with its public education budget.

I guess it's hard to figure out if your audience wants to see more of your character or if they are tired of them and want something new. When I watch characters in danger situations, I am mostly not in much suspense. By default, I assume the characters we follow are going to survive to the next scene. When they don't, I am usually surprised. I guess it's really about if you want to see stories where character find themselves in danger situations. I'm all about realism, but I kind of understand that following one characters story rather than having to reintroduce new ones all the time is probably better. If they keep dying I will probably not care about them and not be very invested.

In band of brothers allot of the characters end up surviving the war. Some didn't. But I think the survivors were the most interesting to follow. And that is based on true stories. The survivors are the ones I remember most fondly.
