The idea is to enjoy yourself without consequences.

Probably not but they won't get punished. But if they do, the fine will be smaller than profits.
What I hate is the expectation that I am to be on standby for whoever calls me. All the time. Fuck that. Send a letter. Show some respect and have some patience. Communication with me is not a right. I'll not respond when I think its not important. And if you call me allot, it's never important. I do however get the heart attack feeling every time you do call.
If it was not important enough to type it out, you can tell me next time we meet. I'll stop answering your call after the second nonsense call you make.
I think the problem that poster was trying to illustrate is that it is unpractical to shut down a site or force a site to spend a significant overhead just cause a user could post a certain sequence of bytes to the site. An analogy to the real world would be some guy paints some graffiti on the pavement and the response, every time, being the complete shutdown of the entire city for a month or complete surveillance on every cm^2^ of pavement plus cleaning crews standing by every 10m.

Your ISP should have no insight in to your traffic at all. Therefore unable to make any judgement on what traffic to block and what not to block. With the exception of volume of traffic and to where it is going.
