I own an iPhone, Apple, watch, AirPods, iPad, and Apple TV. I even use Apple Music instead of Spotify. The only thing I don’t own is a MacBook and I don’t want one. I work in IT and so many of my clients fall into the trap of getting a MacBook because they look pretty. The problem is, most of these casual users are pretty computer illiterate to begin with and have trouble performing basic tasks or installing software and keeping their shit up to date and doing maintenance.

On top of that I feel like Mac OS degrades rapidly over time and slows down significantly. The OS hogs so much memory with their system files too.

Point being, you can be up to your neck into the Apple ecosystem like me, but you will never need a MacBook unless you want to use it for a very specific reason. Sure people will say “oh just install boot camp and you can run windows”. Why not just get a PC? Even if you run bootcamp you can still come across issues when the drivers won’t cooperate with games and software.

So unless you really really want to commit yourself to Apple ecosystem and you are good with tech I would recommend to stick with PC.
