A verdict of not guilty doesn’t mean he didn’t do it, it just means it couldn’t be proven to a high enough standard. It doesn’t mean he DID do it either, but if he did and his accusers ended up being punished for false accusation, that would send a chill down the spine of any person who has been assaulted and is thinking of pressing charges on their abuser.

“Liberal” is defined differently in the context of economics vs politics. It doesn’t mean “economics that political liberals support”.

Looks like it’s a concrete floor and they didn’t want to cut it up to install a proper drain, so this was the solution they came up with.
As a former contractor, I’ve seen a lot worse ideas.
The problem with redesigning cities is that they weren’t exactly built with the possibility of being redesigned in mind. You’re talking about a goal that is hundreds of years of incremental change away. Electric cars are part of the short term solution, but redesigning cities is a much much longer term solution.
Some of the veggitales bits were legit funny. I never saw passion of the Christ but I’ve heard people say it was well done at least.

It’s not as simple as raising taxes when they use creative accounting to live “at a loss” and pay for everything with loans while most of their holdings remain untaxable.
