I have this issue occasionally. If my phone goes into sleep mode (wind down) rather than me enabling sleep mode on the watch then sometimes i just get the “in bed” sleep report rather than sleep stages. I’ve set my sleep window to much later now so I’m usually enabling sleep on the watch before the phone does it

Keep the old one for sleep when you upgrade
