I've been vegetarian for... more than a decade? I love meat substitutes and generally prefer having the substitute present in meals (either as the main thing, like a burger, or as an inclusion). I do agree that meat substitutes are a fantastic way of reducing meat consumption for meat-eaters, but that doesn't mean you need to do away with it completely once you're in 'full veg' mode

PiP works on iOS, even without premium (with some restrictions). At least it did very recently, I have premium now though so I can’t verify as of today
I’m sorry I needed it for school?
I did warn anyone who had access that it wasn’t a 24/7 guarantee.
Agreed. Sometimes I’ll get a text saying ‘the plex thing wont load’ and it doesn’t really make sense to them when I say ‘yeah, I took my computer today’
Memmy. I tried a bunch, but Memmy is the one I kept coming back to.
Ayyyy, welcome to the club!
Yes it’s definitely got a steep learning curve! But once you’ve gotten the feel for it, a lot of the other tricks are a much easier to learn - even if they’re more technical
From my experience they prefer payment that isn’t easily disputed / claimed as fraud. Don’t get me wrong I was more than happy to get the points, it’s just unusual, since they do typically prefer cash / cash adjacent
The artist I just got a tattoo from was fine with taking a credit card. I thought it was weird too, but they are out there
Thanks!
And if you like trackballs, this mouse definitely fits the bill! It's the Logitech M570, and I've used these for years, they're so comfortable and I prefer them over traditional mice.
A skill toy called begleri
Everyone here with their 20 year badges about to be unlocked and I’m over here with 9 year badge - curse my 7 year old self for only having access to a gameboy lmao
Anything by Aroundsquare will do you very well, they can be pricy though, but they are definitely premium in quality. I love the Commons, Sigmas, and the Mini Hydras
TGP also makes great sets
MonkeyFinger also have some interesting bead designs
There’s also a bunch of fairly cheap alternatives online, and they’re usually not too bad. Amazon or Etsy will give you loads of options.
And you can always make a set from hex nuts and paracord too!
No dedicated community here yet, alas. But I am working on getting !idlehands@sopuli.xyz going. Not specific for begleri, but for skill toys and fidgets. Didn’t want to get too niche too quickly, without enough of a user base to support it
