My eleven year old loves it, and it's decent in that way where it will take a good bit longer for the music to drive you nuts.

This is Captain George Costanza erasure, and I will not stand for it. WILL NOT STAND!

Confused Jumpman for Puckman, skipped reading the rest of Question 1, answered incorrectly, and immediately rage quit, where "rage quit" means I made a sour-looking face and closed the tab. I'll see you guys over on !dullsters@dullsters.net. 🤣

Wow, Joanne just really hates everybody, doesn't she?
Yup. My last JLC PCB order, also keyboard related, came at the worst of the recent tariffs, and it was still 1/3 the price of the cheapest option for PCBs in the US, and the pre-clearance rolled into shipping was as much as the tariffs themselves. The only place even close in price was a fab in India.
It's dubious to to think that every country needs to have every sector fully spun up anyway, but even if that's your goal you don't just dump it on people overnight. That just raises prices and hammers the economy without creating any new jobs. Even the Trumpers know this at some level, hence TACO.
Maybe it tastes better than it looks. I certainly hope so.
Gameday threads are my favorite part of the comm anyway. 👍
It speaks well of him.
Florida undefeated, coming’ in hot!
Well, no, but go Gators.
Finally started Slow Horses. It’s played straighter than I’d thought it would be, and the pacing of the first couple of episodes makes the title feel very accurate indeed, but it does worm its way into your brain, and Gary Oldman’s work is a god-damn treasure. Looking forward to continuing it when the wife gets back.
Also watching Foundation, and while it’s getting space opera-y in a way I assume is even farther from the books, after 2 and a half seasons I finally find Gaal more interesting than annoying, and the genetic dynasty actors continue to make it work, plausibly playing the “same” characters but with vastly different different experiences revealing the little changes that have slipped in over the centuries.
Strange New Worlds maybe never grew into what I really hoped it would be, not that I know what that is well enough to articulate it, but it’s still by far the strongest of the recent Trek offerings.
