Sounds like a good way to get detained for being suspicious. Pretty sure I've seen some headlines of people being questioned for having no social media presence.

Unfortunately it probably just depends on whichever chucklefuck you happen to end up dealing with. Not like there's any strong rules they're held accountable to.

Subscription? You think these people are paying to use the slop machine? I'd expect these people are using it partly because they can just use the free tier.

This was (maybe still is) common on the 4chan /lit/erature board as a way to share the file(s) of an ebook embedded in the image of its cover.

Awful showing by Washington Post. It's multiple top severity CVEs against On-Premises (non-cloud) Sharepoint servers. These are zero-days that are out being used against vulnerable systems in the wild.

More info should come up with a quick search. Don't have time to find and link a better article at the moment.

On-Prem Sharepoint, if "servers" didn't give that away.

These CVEs are only for On-Prem Sharepoint. Not Office/Microsoft 365 Sharepoint, which is the cloud based one integrated into Teams, underlying behind Onedrive, etc.

So not as chaotic or wide reaching as you might be thinking.

I spent a ton of time playing the nabisco minigolf flash game online as a kid.

They switched it on for everyone simultaneously. Don't want ads? Upgrade to this brand new higher tier at a "discount".

Oh, sorry. I'm definitely not trying to argue against the idea that the economy is shit or that the ever widening chasm between the "classes" is a massive fucking problem.

I'm fairly outspoken online about how I feel like the social justice movement (while critically important) that rose out of the ashes of Occupy Wallstreet was a ploy to get everyone below the 1% fighting each other. Won't go as far to say the only war is class war, but it's for sure the most inportant one.

I was specifically focused on the headline's claim of 60% using BNPL for groceries. We shouldn't need "alternative facts" to make our point.

Oh hey, it's the "I want to fuck my dog" comic again.

Edit: Sure enough, the artist's patreon is 18+

even cheap optical media might outlast SSDs since those tend to lose their saved data if stored unpowered for x years.

I wasn't aware of this. Would you happen to have any handy links where I could read more?

[–] wizardbeard@lemmy.dbzer0.com 12 points 3 weeks ago (3 children)

That only works if you don't manually make it a link. Just !surrealism@fedia.io

No extra markdown needed. It will be converted automatically just like /r/subreddit on reddit
