Wait what, seriously? Killing a CEO is terrorism, but two politicians is just "normal" murder? That's absolutely fucked.

It also tracks what you've downloaded to provide update notifications and encourage you to participate in the mod quality ratings system.

It's not 100% without reason beyond tracking users.

The issue with using torrents is longevity. You'd still want/need traditional storage backing it all. Don't want some mod to become lost media because nobody is actively seeding it.

Maybe a cop would consider it jaywalking, and it's definitely a dick move, but I wasn't taught that there were really exceptions.

They aren't supposed to walk out and if they're already in the road they're supposed to get out asap, but that doesn't make it ok to try and drive by like they aren't in the road with some sort of confidence that it's somehow their job to get out of your way.

At the end of the day they're a sack of cloth, skin, meat, blood, and bones. You're sitting in a carefully engineered multi-ton slab of plastic and metal more similar to an early tank than it is to a horse and buggy, and those already could trample people to death.

What do you consider "going low"?

If you mean the type of schoolyard insults Trump lobs out, I dislike that but that's just optics. Mud-slinging is whatever.

When we're talking going low in regards to truly matching the lowest of what Trump's base is doing, they're literally abducting citizens. Making deals with clear persistent enemies of the state as if they're allies. Two politicians were just fucking assassinated.

I'm not personally prepared to accept full open warfare yet. Gun violence in the streets. Too much collateral.

If that's truly necessary already, then we're so far beyond discussions of what the Democrats should or shouldn't do that this entire thread (including the OP picture) is just wasting time.

If things are that bad, people would need to get off their asses and start throwing literal blood and lives to the cause of overthrowing Trump. I'm still not convinced we're there yet. If you disagree, either lead by example and get out there with your rifle, or say more to convince those of us not up to speed instead of attacking potential allies.

Start organizing a militia and get the fuck out of threads like this one that would give the intelligence agencies reasons to watch you and kill momentum before it starts, or work outreach and do more to convince people into the cause. To do anything else is irresponsible and self defeating.

The Democrats are many many years overdue for a spine. But I still (perhaps naievely) want to believe that it's possible to win without going low.

Maybe I'm just crazy and need my tinfoil hat adjusted, but a race to the bottom still fucks us all over.

Holding people accountable for their actions isn't "going low". Holding people accountable for the knock on effects of their actions isn't "going low". Holding people accountable for their own previous statements isn't "going low". Callong out blatant lies and misdirection isn't "going low". Actually enforcing laws equally against people privileged financially and/or politically isn't "going low". Calling out blatant corruption isn't "going low".

We don't need the Democrats to start pushing candidates that are only following their own interests while wheeling out whatever their base wants to hear. We don't need Democrats cutting backroom deals with businesses that screw over their constituents. We don't need more toxic waste and diarrehia, just with blue food coloring.

I refuse to believe people actually want "Trump but saying leftist shit to appease people".

No.

The increased "detail" is entirely made up, based off whatever the AI model considers likely to be there based off similar images. AI isn't somehow magically finding pixels that don't exist, it's effectively just guessing them.

I swear, were none of you people around for the LSD dogslugs of early image generation/style matching? Or the slightly newer "this person is not real" portrait generators that would merge hair and glasses, and often give multiple sets of eyes when glasses were at odd angles? This is effectively that with considerably more training data thrown at it.

It's all made up. The AI isn't taking another picture of the object with a higher resolution camera. It's spreading out the existing pixels and doing a best guess to fill in the blanks. Maybe that's fine for a family portait or something (I don't agree, but you do you), but that's definitively not OK for any sort of actual reference material.

My understanding is that this is also the case (legally) in most of the US. Pedestrians have right of way.

People sure don't drive like it though. Too many motherfuckers doing 50 down the fire lane in front of some local shops.

I mean, that's at least functional grammar.

"advertiser's creative"? The fuck is that? You aren't cool by dropping the noun out and trying to use an adejective in its place.

Thanks! That's damn good for "best effort"! A convincing lead on what company it may be.

Personally, I still don't think it's time for immediate red alert, but I'll have to keep an eye on things. Hopefully we'll see some competitors like GameBanana step up to the challenge.

Pretty sure they mean in terms of scraping out ice that can build up on the walls of the inside.

If you have space for like a bedside table, or a coffee table, or even a table table, you have space for a small chest freezer. It doesn't necessarily have to be in the kitchen.

Looks like the average small ones are only about 3.5 cubic feet. I've rarely seen 1.2 cubic feet ones as well.

That said, if all you have is one of those small kitchenettes with barely enough space for a microwave, you're kind of kneecapped in terms of food prep in other ways as well.
