Domains you could register an email with them at.

Ugh, yeah.
They were started by 4chan users, back when that sort of thing was more accepted there as "edgy humor". Glad they grew up.
Yeah, I don't know why they don't have the normal "what is this" text from their main page at least at the bottom or something.
cock.li offers free email service with no personal info needed for signup. They've done this for 11 years, with no major outages to my knowledge, relying only on donations without explicitly asking for them or bugging their users.
I think at some point they also offered paid VPS services.
Very useful for accounts that you don't want connected to your other "identities", but where you'll still need them associated with a real email for things like password resets.
It's also tor friendly.
If you're a sucker for side content, there's a ton of short stories and novellas (even a musical) that the fans have translated: I just got Ending E | The Ark Wiki
Kept the setting alive for just a little longer, and added some more context to the world and characters. Massive spoilers for anyone who hasn't beat Automata though.

You can embed other images in the post body, and in your comments.
Yuck.
So when is the department of transportation going to pay the police department for each crime done on the DoT's roads?
!piracy@lemmy.db0.com is run by the former /r/piracy head mod, and has their own wiki/megathread. Not sure if it has more up to date info there or not (or if it's just a copy of what's on reddit), but it may be worth looking at.
It's also the most popular piracy community I've found on lemmy, so there's usually more responses to questions.
The only reason that's any different than any other time Microsoft has released a new OS is that more people own computers now than ever before, improvements in hardware power have slowed significantly, and people are more outspoken online now.
It's still not reasonable to expect them to support all hardware forever on an aging codebase.
I understand the frustration, but this isn't some new thing for this new OS in particular.
why would the mage have a spellbook? he can just memorize spells.
But mechanically, in Shattered Pixel Dungeon he doesn't, unless I missed something in an update (I don't usually play that class).
And yeah, calling it holy scripture would work fine. I just feel like calling it a spell book highlights the fact that the Sorceror is really just a wand/magic staff user and doesn't have much "spell" mechanics directly.
Good luck getting that message across. A large portion of lemmy seems to consider it acceptable when they do it.
I've found my lemmy experience greatly improved by just blocking and moving on, with the exception of a few users that overwhelmingly post other useful stuff instead of just shitstirring.
Also, quick Google search reveals Hollis has a quote, "I work for Jesus, but get paid by Toyota" so you kinda get the idea of who's steering the ship over there.
Ugh. A dumbass who didn't understand the very clear message of "Render to Ceasar what is Ceasar's". You may "work" for Jesus in the abstract sense, but you absolutely work for Toyota in the job sense. And you seem to be doing a poor job on both fronts.
Some additional context:
It was made by 4chan users over a decade ago, when that sort of thing was accepted there as "edgy humor". Make of it what you will. I think there's been some growing up, since they don't offer/support those domains now.
