I’m too stubborn for that and would prefer an explanation from whoever did the defederating. Like sopuli.xyz is defederated from mine and the admin doesn’t even reply on matrix about it.
Most of us did it months ago.
It’s based off Apollo for the most part so I assume they’re trying to keep everything in the same spirit. How it is makes the most sense to me coming from Apollo.

It’s probably possible but also highly frustrating and annoying to actually get it done. They’d have to have a backup from whenever you deleted it and restore all the deleted entries from the database. No convenient way of going about it.
They’re defederated from mine too. Really odd.
