True, IRC probably birthed most of my feelings in this regard. Formed a tight knit community and learned a lot of personal stuff on there as well though.

Going against that last part and diving into what’s really on your brain is what I’m saying sets these platforms apart. Aside from the typical bigotry spewing characters that come with it.

What’s your absolute must needs? I’m on iOS but Voyager (android as well) has been my top choice for a while now even beating out apps I’ve paid lifetime subscriptions for because the developers disappeared or have been extremely quiet. I like Thunder a lot too. It’s missing key features I like in Voyager but I love its design and how smooth it is.
Where have you been and how’d you end up on Lemmy?
What are you wanting to protect? I think you should hold a bit of anonymity overall to where it doesn’t matter a whole lot. The thrill of these platforms are the more anonymous characters willing to share what’s on their mind without huge out-lash/cancelling in my opinion.

I feel like it will continue forever and not truly get any better. You’re both still very young so I don’t understand why you’d want to live like this. Trust is very hard to regain once it’s been broken. She’ll never fully believe anything you say. Normally kids and finances are the things that keep these things heading toward reconciliation.
Even his latest special is pretty good. Never understand the mass hate with his huge popularity, but I guess that’s what comes with the crazy popularity.
