My comment is getting downvoted but it’s a great source. The interview process is just making sure you understand the rules of the site. I’m guessing lazy fucks are downvoting.

Not really. It’s not that huge of an undertaking lol. Especially for what’s handed over to you after joining.

The instance you’re on has a 100 kB limit for images. The last I read at least.

The compression to quality ratio of webp is amazing, especially webm. Some instances have this conversion happen upon upload would be my guess to save a crazy amount of space.
