It's also that the crust tastes absolutely awesome and a squishy "bread" is without soul.

I eat a lot of bread.

In my opinion a crust is a must and traditional is better than American ¯\_༼ •́ ͜ʖ •̀ ༽_/¯

(Not to speak of the fact that "traditional" means something totally different in every part of the world and in Germany "modern" bread is the same as "traditional" bread)

If you're happy with your state of things, that's ok for you

My idea for a quick fix would be

  • make the whole length of the bikeway interchange 30 km/h
  • add those hemisphere buttons onto the road surface that are not as intrusive as speed bumps but notify the driver to pay attention and make it uncomfortable to speed up
  • those buttons need to be alongside the bikeway on the line at least. But preferably protruding into half the neighbouring lane
  • ban SUVs :) (jk, unless...)

And it's still wonderbread.

Imagine what could be if you were to taste something like this :P

sunflower seed bread

For non USAnians, this is Dave's killer bread Dave's killer bread

Everybody talking about the ducks, but is no-one else absolutely jarred by the man hating on the tiniest improvement on the abomination that is American wonderbread? Like come on, be happy that you are going one step closer to salvation and actual tasty bread by buying soft sponge with at least some flax seed added. Flax seeds are delicious.

Are you implying that it doesn't taste good without butter?

Was ist die Hauptstadt von Assyrien?

Everything south to Panama and the whole Caribbean is part of North America.

Continental Europe is about 10 M km^2 (I subtracted the UK and Iceland for you) Th US is about 9,5 M km^2

So about the same, which is impressive, but it doesn't hold you captive. You can still go to other countries on holiday.

Also there are a ton of native languages within the US plus settler languages like Tejano and Pennsylvanian Dutch. So if one wanted to have a cultural vacation, it would be possible.

Have you seen our world?

[–] wieson@feddit.de 5 points 1 year ago

Drop in the bucket of this countries history and, in the end, nothing's going to be done. Significant portion of our population still believes this was a good thing. Of those that even remember this that is.

Significant portion || of those that even remember this || that is.

The "that is" is a clarifier, similar to "is what I meant".

Significant portion of our population still believes this was a good thing. Of those that even remember this, is what I meant.

Maybe a comma would've helped.
