Ooh I love this analogy! And LTBT+++ would be "but I don't like users with trackballs instead of a mouse"

It's absurd.

Agree. I was more getting on the assumption I was reading in that it was politically driven which I don't believe was the case.

Could be worse. I love my Toronto Raptors but really? Raptors? I mean I get it it was the 90's and it was a hugely popular movie but could they not have picked a more timeless and culturally relevant name? Use the original Huskies for example?

Nah we gonna do a dinosaur from Jurassic Park.

Planned obsolescence to create a fake scarcity to drive up value?

Same as Reddit. For each line of code indent 4 spaces.

I am interested to the point I will be searching up recipes. This meal however looks like an abomination of "I need to get my macros" lol

No we aren't one cartoon doesn't define you.

Now if you're coding something intentionally addicting and soul crushing yes you're bad.

Past me masturbated so many times to these 3.

Look at the nutjobs that were the backbone of what became America. Basically a bunch of puritan nutjobs who didn't like how laissez faire England was becoming so they hopped on the boat to America so they could make their puritanical paradise.

Y'all are just noticing it now which is a failure of the education system. Then again we already know this.

Thoughts and prayers to America 🙏🏾

True but in parts of the world completely isolated from others? India in comparison to South America as an example.

Looking to watch some raptors or anyone else

User accounts are fragmented and just because you signed on at lemmy.world doesn't mean your account exists on lemmy.ca.

https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/1985

Communities are fragmented and /c/games on lemmy.world is completely different than the one on lemmy.ml with its own users, set of posts, etc.

Lemmy does not currently allow for instance or user migration.

https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3057

Nor does it allow for shared communities (ie the aforementioned /c/games is unified across multiple instances)

https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/3100

We are in the early days. If you're eager feel free to join in the development on these any many other core issues. There's real potential here.
