There were some actual torpedoes that used miles-long wire to control

Avoid crowds and lines during regular voting day

Get it out of the way early

Just in case you're busy on voting day for whatever reason

Yeah I'll be honest, I surprised myself when I bought my EV and my odometer went up a whole lot faster than it used to

My previous car wasn't easy on gas so I instinctively used it sparingly. With my EV I actually do drive a lot more and I'm volunteering to be the driver for group trips and stuff much more often...

I like to read in the dark, and a black OLED screen with white text is so much more comfortable than even an e-ink screen for me.

LCDs are good for price, I guess. All my big monitors are LCD, but phone has to be OLED.

It's a holdover from old BBS forum style.

When you reply to an ancient thread, it immediately gets pushed to the top of the board. Now everyone basically is wondering what this 5 year old topic is doing on the first page. And they might have to read through several pages of messages to understand what the hell the newest reply is about because nobody remembers the topic in the first place.

With Reddit/Lemmy, the upvote system means it really doesn't matter at all if you reply to an ancient thread, it won't jump to the front page for anyone.

They can describe themselves again. I suppose that could be considered cultural restoration?

We are putting tarrifs on stuff we buy from you, because you make too much money on us. But we are going to remove tarrifs from the stuff that we buy from you, ~~because we need them.~~

Because their CEOs attended his dinner and bribed him.

The real reason?

Apple, Intel, and other execs bribed him during an overpriced dinner.

This whole tariff thing has nothing to do with the country or international relations or manufacturing or whatever.

It's just his latest personal grift. He just now has the power to say "every CEO in the world must personally give me a bribe or I'll continue doing some really stupid shit."

Better start checking insurance records for each of those cars. Each of these cars are required to have insurance the moment they drive off the lot, so let's see when those cars were ACTUALLY sold...

Haha as if that will stop Trump
