Its only a matter of time till we get companies run entire by AI.

We kept asking in scifi if ai could ever be given the status of a legal human.

We failed to ask if capitalism has already build in a bureaucratic loophole that just gives it to them.

All Information is emergent from context

Context is relative to conscious, time and space. So is information.

It’s the glue definition of reversed Theseus.

We started with a sticky mess. Now we have strong adhesive. The technology evolved from the one to the other but are they still the same thing?

I switched my main to linux about a year ago and install everything through terminal at this point.

I had to download something on a windows system once recently and i was not prepared with how backwards this entire process felt.

I cant understand how i had stuck with such bullshit for so long.

Not LSD but another psychedelic gave me:

  • The most intense scary experience of my life and the believe i was in a state of shock and dying.

  • The most intense beautiful experience of my life and the believe i was part of the never-dying fabric of space time.

  • Made me forget who i was, to help me understand who i am.

All of this in like a single 20 minutes of time after which everything was (sort of) normal again.

I can only recommend if you fully consent and do not fear the unknown.

“Be first in your neighborhood”

Is somehow where i draw the line to call this ridiculous.

My dad told me a story of how my grandpa stopped running against him the moment my dad became faster.

He then proceeded to stop playing chess after i beat him. Like he was making an educational point of it.

I love them both, i know them to be bright intelligent people but i will never understand the idea here. When my kids start to beat me at my own games i know i will be nothing but pride and encouragement. I want them to become better then i ever was, isn't that a point to be made instead?
