Cancelled my sub when I found that out. Switched to busuu, comparing the two, busuu and Duolingo seem to have different teachings and I noticed that my ability to understand things (comments) in duo is slowly becoming paywalled on the pro(paid) version... Wtf??! Quality of lessons is also seemingly going down.
~~Then I heard they are handing user data to ICE (maybe this is a rumor) but it just pushed me away even quicker.~~
I don't have proof of this so I take this back but am leaving the text so as to give context to the comments below.
Cool, I look forward to hearing those conversations. Post the audio, shouldn't be a problem.
Thank you!
I'm not posting this because I think it's a distraction or any kind of psyops campaign. But it's a little unnerving to think that these people are placing stuff in food and that really doesn't seem to cause any sort of concern.
Wish there would be a task force, or anyone, looking into these weird cult notes. I found two so far, one tacked to a tree under a leaf on a walking trail and one in my box of granola bars. Literally, In... The... Box. For reference: https://www.axios.com/local/philadelphia/2024/01/23/creepy-notes-crop-up-pennsylvania
But, her emails! /s
How about "where's the whole video, where's the whole video". I like where this was going, but would love to see where it went. I can't find it. Anyone have a link to the entire thing?
Why not? Seems fitting an ex NASA engineer show Elon, the man currently trying to dismantle NASA, just what kind of intelligent people exist in that agency.
I fixed that twice!
Fist Curse you autocorrect! Fist
Curious how so many people decided to ditch them and switch (vocally on Lemmy at least) and now they back pedal/clarify/whatever. Turns out we have power and using it works. Sorry not sorry. Edited: pedal instead of petal.
I never viewed a midlife crisis as actually breaking free or feeling like your half way so you need to alter. I always viewed it as a, now I finally have money and am in a financially stable spot where I can risk money to splurge on something I normally wouldn't, point in life. Sadly, that seems gone. You'd be lucky if you have a stable career where you feel like you won't get fired tomorrow at 30. If you have anything left your desperately saving it for retirement.
