after playing with a tone generator (phyphox) i'm not at all certain it's a linear increase. I hear no sound until the fifth or sixth click but the difference in the last couple clicks is very noticeable.
it takes my iphone 16 clicks to fill the volume bar so i am making an educated guess that it isn't 10% per click.
nonsense is important to developing our tastes and food prep skillset. I think the only invalid food would be something that gets thrown away over and over instead of eaten.

yeah friend I have the personality type that makes it devilishly difficult to quit. I got off finally last year, got back on it over the holiday break and it took me 6+ months to get off again. My friend who had been suffering some extremely painful surgery stuff told me it got so bad she was eating 200mg of thc in gummies a day and internally i'm thinking 'that is like, just what i eat to not be grumpy!'.
Especially with all the terrible crap going on in the world and if you have personal crap on top it's just, so difficult.
For me the first 3 days are a nightmare, the first week is hell and the first month is B L A H. After 30 days it's not so bad. I turn into such a mega asshole those first 3 days i try to schedule a camping trip or something so im not near folks and even then my ass will be out there angry at the forest.
Staying away people having it, finding other distractions and finding other healthy dopamine sources are all that helpful.

oof that would be so ultra embarrassing holy cow.
I caught my ex girlfriend pouring grease down the sink of her rental and she had never heard that you weren't supposed to do that and she owned her own house for years. I dunno how you get that far without anyone correcting you but i guess stuff just slips through the cracks sometimes.
