Trump is trying push a whole pick sides narative on the world, that seems pretty ignorant to actual reality, and just ends up with everyone more fractured and weak.

That's because he can't think in 3D. Boyo is pretty limited in his worldview...

Yeah, and utilizing the time where everybody is hating on google & co., hoping nobody notices that Mozilla is also a US company.

Still, I'd like to give it a try at the very least.

I'd consider myself liberal, but I embrace some traits considered leftist in some areas (universal healthcare, free education) and right in others (restrict immigration based on key economic and educational indicators, deport criminals).

Fennec, you can log in with your Mozilla sync account and access them from any other sync-enabled browser in their ecosystem.

Yeah old Firefox was the best. With a bookmark menu on the left where I could scroll forever and see it at a glance.

Those top bars are awful shit, and I cannot fathom how anybody uses them.

Did anyone receive their invitation code yet? I registered a week ago or so when they first announced it, but so far, nothing.

Sounds like Europe. Maybe a bit more extreme since property crimes and financial crimes exceeding a certain monetary amount will get you jailed, but "casual" offenders will get exactly that.

And no death penalty, that's just barbaric to begin with.

I can't switch to Linux due to software requirements for work. On my personal computer I'm using Xubuntu for well over a decade, I didn't like the unity window manager of Ubuntu. I heard they changed to something else by now, but I can't be bothered to switch.

I never said nor I implied that. The point made during the trial was that the people were observed to be intimate and drunk, so whatever happened next was at least not premeditated.

Yes. There is a due process that needs to be observed, and exposing people just because you don't agree with the ruling is exactly the argument fascists and dictators bring to push their agenda and discredit the court of law.

You might also look further into this specific case, the article is very one-sided and meant to create outrage.

  1. The alleged perpetrator tried to bring the woman home but her roommate didn't open for over 30 min
  2. They've been making out in the bar and been observed holding hands and kissing by a cctv along the way
  3. Eventually they ended up in the guys house where they had sex, which she later said was nonconsensual, which is very much possible. However, witnesses say the guy was also drunk beyond being able to reasonably give consent.
  4. He was given a suspended 3 year sentence, not a free pass.

No. Keep that shit practice in the US.

Yeah but isn't that the place to buy food? If foot traffic is down it means people buy their essentials elsewhere.
