Yes, and to be fair, it doesn’t mean that protecting children is not a side effect of restrictions.

I agree the examples are all over the place.

Pretty sure they mean computerized interiors like infotainment systems. Probably not talking about ECU and internal computerized parts.

I wasn’t aware all Biden voters were rich.

$600/person will go by so quickly with even more inflated prices of goods.

Unless it’s UBI, we don’t need checks. We need higher wages and lower costs of living.

I’ll bet it’s specific white people only

Make it too dangerous to visit, nobody will come to the US.

Make it too dangerous to fly, nobody can go.

The $50K each person got should be donated to support the people of Gaza.

They’re just gonna throw in an AI generated minute. Last I read there were 3 minutes missing.

Nothing new. We always been feeding them and bombing them. Biden and Obama did it too.

Education and an inviting community are the keys to shifting voters.

Market is cyclical. Things go up. Things go down.

Ah you mean the two cameras will both be fpv feed and recording 360 video. That would be wild.

Lots of people on Lemmy really dislike AI’s current implementations and use cases.

I’m trying to understand what people would want to be happening right now.

Destroy gen AI? Implement laws? Hoping all companies use it for altruistic purposes to help all of mankind?

Thanks for the discourse. Please keep it civil, but happy to be your punching bag.

I’ve been trying to fix a whistle from a pair of aerodynamic (plane wing shape) cross bars for almost a month now. I tried the rope wrap, taped up all the holes, different positions and nothing worked. Finally I got the idea of putting a strip of fuzzy weather stripping along the bottom edge to brush the air below before meeting the air above the bar. Turns out it works really well! There’s still a very subtle whistle, but it’s amazing how well it works and for how cheap it is. Hope it’ll last. Good luck!

EDIT: haven’t tried it in heavy rain yet but will follow up

EDIT EDIT: works great in the rain especially because the rain is noisy anyways haha

Hi again. I took the car back to the dealer to re-align and the wheel is still turned to the left a little when driving straight. The tech showed me the numbers and that they leveled the steering wheel.

Is something wrong with my suspension, or should I try alignment somewhere else? Just live with it?

EDIT: when I let the wheel go and I’m going straight on a stretch of road the wheel is off center by about 10 degrees.

EDIT EDIT: called the dealership and they said alignment doesn’t include resetting wheel sensor via obd tool. Crazy.

I’ve been to smaller shops, I’ve been to dealerships, and the only time I’ve ever gotten an alignment done right was after I complained to a general manager. I know alignments are hard with the laser machines. It shouldn’t be a problem, right? Are they just being lazy? I hate having to go back to the shop and wait another 2 to 4 hours to get something done that should’ve been done right the first time.

EDIT: I’ve had this happen with my 2001 QX4 4WD, 2019 Q50 2WD and now with 2019 Atlas AWD

I want to duplicate an ocarina and stick them together and move and connect the two ocarina’s together with a centralized mouthpiece. Can I pay somebody to make a file for me to print at home? Thanks!

2001 QX4

It has been 90+ degrees where I live and when idling for more than 10-15 min, the A/C stops blowing cold and is humid. Works great otherwise when ambient temps are low and car is moving. The Freon pressure is good. The Enser is old and has some dents, but has been cleaned and looks to be getting airflow. How can I tell what is wrong? Replace the radiator fan clutch? Condenser? Something else? Should also note that the engine temp gets high when on long stretches up uphill highway, but I think that is somewhat normal for an old car, no? Thanks!

Not talking about touching the little guys. Talking about something like limiting sales or buys to $1M per day to curb the leverage these big corps have on the market.

Big guys like Berkshire have so much leverage in the market. They can sell a huge chunk of stocks causing chaos and a huge drop in price, then buy low and profit. The stock market isn’t fair to regular investors. You’re at the mercy of these big firms.

The parts that aren’t free are kind of shiny and up close there are little black flecks like mold.

Thrips?
