Simple: Don't like it? Don't search it and don't look at it. I'm not going to tell someone to stop drawing something just because I personally find it uncomfortable. Heck, I'd feel shame if I ever was in such situation. I can just block the person drawing the art and I never have to see any of their art again (outside of re-sharing).
Enjoy your artistic freedom, keep the fandom unmarketable, and if something makes you uncomfortable, filter it out. It's not on others to cater to your needs all the time. Sometimes you need to be the one to take initiative.
From what I have seen/heard from people still on there, there's a new setting that only allows you to receive DMs from "verified users" (i.e. Twitter Blue subscribers). You are automatically opted into this and have to opt out to receive DMs from others.
It's all fine! I mostly follow stuff outside of the furry communities on here anyway. c: Thank you for providing the platform to do that. <3
Oh, I played it before it had a story mode or anything like that. :D I really should try it again.
I'm so glad we have astrophotographers here as well. These are always so nice to look at.
Oh gosh, I always had such bad luck with this game. :D Never finding any useful loot and then getting killed by wildlife.
Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix, and experiencing extreme levels of nostalgia. My goal is to play through every HD Remix and reexperience the joys of my childhood before finally seeing what Kingdom Hearts 3 is about.
So glad I'm no longer on any social media platforms where these people hunt. I left Facebook (for unrelated reasons) shortly after I got an invite to someone's Oriflame page. :D
I actually burst out laughing when I realised the whole
WHAT'S HAPPENING
WHAT'S HAPPENING
WHAT'S HAPPENING
in the background when I went to check out the homepage. The website is asking the question we all are. :D
I can comment on this as an artist myself.
I think AI generated images (as all AI technology used in different areas) would be best used as an extension for an artist's workflow as opposed to a total replacement of the artist. AI can speed up the creative process in multiple ways. I personally occasionally use AI generated images to get inspiration for things like poses, hairstyles, clothing and colours. The middle two especially, since I'm really bad at coming up with stuff sometimes. XD
I don't mind if users post AI generated images as long as they don't do it in a deceptive way, like actively hiding the fact that the image is AI generated, or worse, claiming that they made it. The argument of "I wrote the prompt" doesn't really work because you giving specifications for a commission or a request for an artist doesn't magically mean you made the art that artist creates either. Better yet, some kind of disclaimer about it being AI art would be good so people who do not want to see it know to ignore it or filter it out (if possible).
I'm not as doom and gloom about AI art as some people seem to be. Probably because I'm both a techie and an artist. As long as AI cannot reliably combine separate, possibly never-before-combined contexts in a creative manner, I am not going to be too worried about it becoming a replacement for human creativity. Though I do see that it could be used to amazing gains by someone who knows a thing or two about creating art.
Abandoning social media has never been too difficult for me. I deleted all Meta (back then still Facebook) platform accounts after the large phone number leak. I deleted my Twitter account after Musk took over (could foresee the stupidity). I deleted my Reddit account because of the API change announcement.
Make me angry enough and I'll leave your platform. The platform needs me more than I need it.
