Why would one need to save up vacation days to take a "full paycheck" off? That is one month, so 20 working days? 20 working days should be very common mount of available vacation days per year (at least in EU)?

Just don't forget to update Firmware. I have two of them and one had stabikty issues with the connected display. FW update solved the issue.
I still don't understand how anyone can continue to tolerate this situation. There are no significant civil protests, no visible political backlash. Everyone seems to be either passively accepting the current state of affairs or simply waiting for it to blow over (the majority appears to even support the ongoing cleansing of the country).
Immerhin liege ich bei der Nettokaltmiete noch gut – auch wenn es sich nur um einen winzigen, heruntergekommenen Altbau ohne Balkon handelt.
Das bedeutet aber auch: Die Mietwohnungen, die derzeit auf dem Markt sind und 10, 15 und mehr €/m² kosten, haben rein gar nichts mehr mit der Realität zu tun - zumindest nicht mit meiner. Das beruhigt mich irgendwie. Es gibt mir die Sicherheit, dass ich wohl noch mindestens zehn weitere Jahre in meiner kleinen Höhle hausen kann.
Das bisschen Obst und Gemüse kann getrost durch Fleisch ersetzt werden. /s

Klar, lass uns zurück zur Kernkraft gehen. Ist bestimmt günstiger als Erneuarbare - mit genügend Subventionen lässt sich sicher eine Firma finden, so lange der Staat die Endlangerung übernimmt.
I really hope this eventually blows over without society collapsing - and that those responsible, along with everyone who allowed it to happen, are held accountable - assuming there's still a functioning justice system by then.
They could have simply played it cool and acted like nothing happened - no one would have even seen the image. As CEO and HR, maintaining composure and saving face is literally part of their job.

Meinem nicht-experten Verstständis nach: Ja, wir werden älter - wir werden aber auch produktiver und eigentlich sollte damit Einkommen und Abgaben proportional dazu steigen was das Ungleichgewicht zwischen Arbeitzeit und Rentenzeit zumindest in meiem Verständnis abfangen sollte. Die Realität sieht aber anders aus: Einkommen minus Inflation stagnieren und führen damit zu fehlenden Einnahmen für die Rentenversicherung.
