Until you call an electrician, all I can think of is to plug something in and do the on/off test. You said you aren't able to find anything to plug in there, but I don't understand what you mean. A lamp, TV, toaster, phone charger, alarm clock, radio, microwave, any of those would work to test with to see if the outlet has power when switching off the breakers. Unless she has nothing else plugged in throughout the entire house then I would just do that, it's by far the easiest way to test.

Yes, they do offer them in varying levels of nicotine. I decided about a month ago to stop vaping after doing it daily for 10 years. Ordered some patches and some gum, and while I was waiting on those I tried the pouches. They do work and you can get them in lower strengths to wean yourself off.

If your goal is to quit nicotine entirely, be careful that you don't just fully swap one addiction for another. I'm still working on getting off of the pouches, but it's getting better, and my lungs feel so much better now.

I think they're referring to the title of the lemmy post, not the one in the image

Hello, I live in this district. Gainesville itself as a college town is pretty solidly blue, but Ocala, High springs, and pretty much everything else around it in the district is very rural and red. We are also very close to the villages, which is where all the old people in the country go to ruin Florida for everyone else (although I think the villages is in a different district, it's still close enough to have plenty of influence).

Just a heads up to anyone that wants to play this, the switch version runs very well on the high seas. Just finished playing it for the first time and started rdr2

I have always done it the way in the pic above, but I just found out recently that you can just turn it 90° and cut it in the manner you're describing. So if you are using the same type of can opener then you could probably just turn it like in the pic and try it that way.

IMO it cuts better your way but also leaves a more sharp top on the can

It's a tough fight, especially the first time. Firecrackers help a lot. This boss is required to advance the story, but if you're struggling with it, you can just leave and do a ton of other stuff before doing this fight, that'll help you level up and get stronger so it's not as hard of a fight.

Aspyr does remakes/remasters and ports of games, the stuff listed on their page should all be games they've remastered/remade, or ported to PC/Mac AFAIK. That's why they have things like COD and Star Wars listed.

Jumping in here to say that I have worked in an office for a while and we had a Kyocera, definitely seems to be on the more reliable end of printers in my experience
