They're also all in on AI (red flag) and when I stupidly used their "credit" feature a few years ago they sold that loan to a third-party without telling me who then, since they bought the loan agreement and were free to do so, claimed I missed a payment and forced me to pay for another 6 months of the agreement. When I asked Klarna about this random company claiming I owed them the exact same amount k happened to owe Klarna, they at first said they didn't and wouldn't sell the loan, then later said that they had.

Shady as fuck business. Is it on me for using them and their credit service? Sure. Is it a bad look when businesses do things that are technically legal but screw over customers? Absolutely!

I've had to stop watching/reading a load of programming stuff because numerous times I've found out the creator was just horrifically racist, sexist, misogynistic, homophobic or transphobic. It got too tiring having to investigate every author (not that it was difficult, they're usually VERY open about being bigots).

Very quickly but likely quite painful

What if we just take Canada and move it over a little?

Used to work at Rebellion on their IT team. Genuinely a fantastic place to work and the owners seemed to always be super chill. Had a full suit of armour in one of their offices and so many weapons lying around (likely blunt replicas but still really cool).

I wasn't on the game dev team so can't speak for them but I was personally never pushed to work harder and often explicitly told to take breaks.

We also used to have large Unreal Tournament matches at lunch.

I have some amazing news in that case!

I was so sure this was made out of cheese at first and was very confused but impressed.

Never heard of Transmetropolitan but this looks amazing!

I just joined a Discord server of mostly AuDHD people. Much easier.

I don't think I've ever thought of chicken that way... Questioning if I even understand it at all 😂

But yes, you're right, the whole thing requires everyone to contribute equally for it all to work properly but, since everyone can momentarily benefit more by not, and politics is painfully shortsighted, they won't do the right thing.

Isn't it less of a game of a chicken and closer to a global Prisoners Dilemma? The best option for everyone is for everyone to do the thing, the best option for individuals is to not do the thing but the worst thing for everyone is to not do the thing?
