We didn't know what was happening.

  1. Overhype game
  2. Promise features and functionality that aren't even close to existing
  3. Provide performance on launch that is literally unplayable on most systems
  4. Players understandably negatively review game

This is just them trying to rewrite what happened. Hoping they'll sucker some people who weren't paying attention at the time.

A 30h+ take home that doesn't even reflect what you all do is a waste of everyone's time. I'd think most qualified applicants are going to ghost you when they are tasked with that. You have to keep in mind you're not the only place they're applying. Are you sure you want the engineer who has time for a 30h+ coding challenge for a potential job, that might then make a competitive offer?

My thoughts exactly. Tagging them (if possible) is OK, but kind of annoying to need to go to all these different communities and filter memes when there is already a dedicated community for programming memes.

It also may turn off new arrivals that may be looking for a more serious community, and think all/most of the content is memes.
