For simple online consumption? Yes, definitely. PNG is even worse than JPEG for this.

PNG usefulness is for those cases where you really really really need lossless compression, which would mostly be professional printing, or really high quality stuff (wallpapers, etc).

You know, I don't care about jokes not being funny and stuff like that. But what surprises me of USA late night shows is that, when they interview famous people... it CLEARLY shows it's scripted. At least most of the time.

Every interview has usually this moment were casually (not at all, really) some little story comes up where the famous person tells something funny but human that happened to them (and probably made up), with a little twist that makes it clickbaity.

So weird and I usually turn it off right when the little story comes up, like... "agh, another fake interview, again".

Not open source, but AnyDesk is another option that does exactly what you want.

There was a Flatpak, but the maintainer quit, so, you'll probably have to install it directly from their official site.

Anyway, RustDesk, as mentioned by other comment, is essentially the open source alternative to AnyDesk, so maybe look into that first.

In Europe they are basically featureless, and the only people I have seen using them were those who struggle with consumerism.

But can it VIM?

The crucial aspect of Dark was very straightforward. Time-travel. And everything happens organically from there.

In 1899, every episode adds a new thing that is completely unrelated to the previous, nothing is consistent, and it turns out nothing is really meaningful at all in the end.

I could start the show watching season 2 and I would be as clueless as anyone.

Seriously, did we watch the same 1899??

From the third episode it was already making me think "oh, this is going to be one of those shows where literally everything is a mistery and nothing is ever explained".

And then, nothing gets explained, and the season ends with the cheapest "GOTYA!!" ever. Like... what?? I've spent HOURS watching this and I literally wasted all this time... hmm... of course it was cancelled. It was expensive and didn't really say anything meaningful.

"B-but because you need more seasons to understand", this is not how the business works. We can not trust you will deliver if you failed to do anything meaningful in a whole season.

I am so glad 1899 got cancelled. One of the worst shows I've seen in years.

And it's one of the worst because it clearly had money to look great, and they decided to make the shittiest story, with the biggest plot-holes ever, and then finally finish it off like "yeah, nothing makes sense AND THAT'S THE POINT"... cheapest story ever.

I completely disagree with you.

If you gain sufficient amount of money (we are talking 100M $ here, but it works even for 1M), you have SO MUCH MONEY that it can generate money by itself within a reasonable timeframe AND you can live really really well with it, enjoy your hobbies and free time, all at the same time. And if you don't know how to do it, let a professional help you, because you can pay for them, too.

This one has been an absolute discovery. Amazing app well beyond the others I've tested up to now. Recommended.

Avoid Manjaro, if you plan on entering the ArchLinux space do it with EndeavourOS.

I would avoid Ubuntu, but that is more because I dislike their politics on snaps.

You are an entry-level IT pro, so, I'd suggest EndeavourOS for personal, Debian for work. Why? Simple, Debian is widely used in professional environments, nobody will look at you weird for using a "less professional" distro.

In terms of University work, you are saying you guys use Teams and Office, probably with a student license that would give you access to a full online Office experience through the browser, just use that.

In terms of gaming, things are looking pretty good nowadays, and with a more personal distro, such as EndeavourOS, you'll get the latest advancements in gaming.

Looks pretty real to me. I'd say it is simply a "meh" photo, that somehow got chosen as a teaser pic.
