Before buying, look for secondhand ones, many people move to a different house where their previous system becomes obsolete, or they upgraded to a different beast.

Install KWin script "Polonium" and you won't need any TWM anymore.

This is the definitive replacement for gboard, people. It works fantastically well already with everything that Gboard has and it will only get better from here on.

I don't mean to sound like an a-hole, but when will the KDEConnect's ever-appearing "accept" pop-up when remote-mousing work properly?

EDIT (MONTHS LATER): IT WORKS PERFECTLY NOW ❤️

I know you can definitely selfhost Piped but it's virtually the same as using YouTube with uBlock. Piped's magic lies on it having some users so data cannot be linked to you.

Linux Mint is great for ultra-noobs, but I'd personally setup Debian for a super-stable computer, and nowadays it's really not that hard, so that would be another option.

I have installed Arch Linux in some of those computers tho, and I've had no issues too; but well, the install process is not for the newbie.

What's funny is that I have installed Linux on many of my family's computers and they have NEVER ever felt the need to go back to Windows. They probably think it's just Windows but I took the trash out of it. It just works and it's amazing.

Consider joining relevant larger communities first, there's probably some VR community out there that probably needs your content. I don't think Lemmy is big enough (yet) for such a niche Samsung Gear VR community, but go for it!!

Keep in mind TheLinuxExperiment is sponsored by Tuxedo, so don't take his opinion too seriously.

Well, it's broken again, then

Don't use my medication just because it worked for me. Go to professionals and follow their criteria.

In fact, my dose is basically the smallest one you can get for an antidepressant.

Also, medication is not there to make you feel happier. It is there to give you a little push on getting back on track. But there is still work to do.

Food, sleep, sport, relationships... These are so much more critical than any medication. Bookmark some Andrew Huberman podcasts and get to work. You can do it.

I had the third one for some time: the answer was medication, doctors and psychologists. These will obviously help with all of your points.

The meaningless of it all is still there, as a possibility, but there is also a fascination to it. You think. You feel. You love. You hate. You find things beautiful, or ugly. The universe is there and you are experiencing it. Even if it's meaningless... Think about NOW. Isn't it f*cking fascinating?

That makes me wanna enjoy the ride for as long as I can.

You can enjoy the ride too, and I have no doubts about it. Zero. In fact, I have negative doubts. I have REASONS.
