Depending on how its built you might be able to do adjustment and sensing with a single coil. Similar to how you can do current sensing in motors or how you can send and receive with the same coil in a metal detector.

Yeah, people need to stop pushing proton. Its not a good recommendation and honestly never was. Putting all your eggs in one basket is always a shit idea.

Nice post. Short but clear and funny.

Firefox 141.0 also no longer requires a forced restart after an update has been applied by a package manager.

This is very cool too :)

In other words to meaningfully power stuff that is a just couple meters away you would need a source so powerful that it would either kill you or all the electronic devices in its vicinity. A nice styropyro video to illustrate https://youtu.be/6TgrtA2wKaM?t=144

There was a great talk by those hackers at the CCC congress a while back where this story was originally published. Its fairly in depth, showing everything they did to get past the DRM and stuff.

Itch.io already went and hid all adult content afaik, so we are already past the first stage even.

For me it was the opposite. I somehow immediately understood what happened, but was just confused why tf anyone would do that. Then i saw the RPG.

Idk what was meant by this one, but they keep pushing updates that break preexisting setups. This would be fine if admins were sufficiently warned and they added proper info about breaking changes to their changelogs, but they simply havent done that.
