Happy birthday! Enjoy the sunshine ๐ ๐
In the city this morning. It's damp.
And far too many people seem to think that their down puffer jackets are waterproof. Nope, you're going to be cold and wet.
I've just made peace with the fact that my fringe is permanent now. If I couldn't deal with growing it out in lockdown, I'm stuck with it.
Indeed, he's a really happy man. And now it's in my head too.
Thanks, I'll check it out!
For anyone living in the past like me- a reminder that MS Publisher goes away after tomorrow, export those files.
I use it for two files that are updated once a year. I'll have to finally move them to Canva I reckon, and mess around with all the formatting.
Have you looked into 'weekend migraines'? It can be the change in routine or change in stress levels that's the trigger. There might be something you can identify and change.
I made a delicious soup yesterday. I roasted a butternut pumpkin, two sweet potatoes, some garlic, and half a dozen carrots for half an hour at 200C - all chopped up with some oil, salt and ground cumin. Then in a big pot, soften a diced onion in some oil, add a litre of stock, and let it simmer for 5-10 minutes. Add the vegies to the pot and blitz with a blender until smooth. Add a bit of cream if you fancy.
Makes about 12 serves at around $1.50 per serve, and freezes well if you don't want to eat it for every meal. And you could swap out whatever roast vegies you fancy.
I had the strudel and I just chucked it in the oven. I didn't bother glazing it with milk as the instructions tell you to, there's no need. It just comes out a bit less shiny and glossy, but equally delicious.
