Sakeik and her husband went on their honeymoon in the U.S. Virgin Islands. She was detained shortly after arriving back in the United States

Isn’t the US Virgin Islands part of the US?

This is true, but at the same time those voting for him need to be smarter than a rock come voting season. It’s hard to have empathy for those crying about how Trump has wrecked their lives after they so shamelessly/stupidly supported him.

I’m half considering drafting a thank you letter for her efforts to take on Big Oil and friends.

I go back and forth between having an internal monologue. Generally day to day I might not hear the voice though.

I’m multilingual so if I’m in another country surrounded by people speaking in another language the monologue will be constant as my brain is focused on being immersed in the language.

Edit: Fixed typo monolingual → multilingual

When it comes to immigration in the US I feel the exact same way. As some privileged pasty white guy born here I just couldn’t give a rat’s ass if someone crosses the imaginary line illegally. Sure, if they commit a crime they might have to go to jail — but the way the current regime I mean administration is handling things is way off base.

I bring all this up because I kind of thought most of the left here thought the same way as I did but I’ve seen over the past couple years that even my side of the political aisle is in support of fucking over immigrants too.

They’re pushing LLMs so fucking hard at work but I finally destroyed my personal OpenAI account and decided to go back to actually researching topics.

It just got to the point that I got tired of constantly rewriting the same fucking problem 20 million ways in hopes of finally getting the right answer. I kept noticing that if I just slowed down and looked at what it was doing I could find the flaw myself in seconds.

Mainly to keep my end devices appearing to connect to a VPN in the same country. I usually do that especially when I travel to other countries that seem to block WireGuard leaving their borders.

I suppose if I had fiber at home I’d do it all there but cable internet’s slow 30 Mbps upload speed along with constant power outages make it a no-go.

I agree, oat milk is generally the best but sometimes specific recipes call for a specific kind.

Honestly I just run Alpine Linux on a mini PC (router) or Raspberry Pi (NAS). I don’t like to screw around with outdated, bloated Debian-based distros.
