The US implementation of chip and PIN left off the PIN. The reason given was "no one wants to put in a PIN every time" so for the vast majority of transactions you just hold up your card to the sensor or put it in the chip reader. PIN is only required for cash withdrawals in my experience.

This is why I introduced my kids to scuba diving as soon as they could get certified. It's an expensive hobby but you can combine it with family vacations. Most vacation places near water have dive shops and will rent you whatever equipment you need

There are full face masks and Gabe's bread doesn't seem to be as long as it was.

Meanwhile the X-men have been around since the 1960s exploring all kinds of stories about how the greater population treats mutants. Including the recurring stories of Mageto's "We are better than them Charles" while Professor X is like "can't we all get along?"

I briefly worked for a plumber during my college days to make money. He said the people who kept him in business were people who poured grease down the drain and also people who flushed tampons.

I guess people aren't all that familiar with the world of Cyberpunk 2020/2077 if anyone expected any type of happy ending. Cybering yourself inevitably leads to cyber psychosis, with no exceptions. Even Adam Smasher is rated as a "high functioning cyberpsycho", and may be unique in that category. Getting into a gunfight is rarely survivable, black ice will flatline you eventually, and brain dance addiction comes for everyone else.

How to recognize a true believer, from Matthew 7:16-20:

16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

It turns out the Rosetta stone isn't actually unique. It was simply the first example found of what cane to be known as the Decree of Memphis. It was required to be put in every temple. I think the rally of these stones is up to six currently.

Wasn't it just one GSV on the Culture side basically fighting the whole war?

Don't forget the ability to switch sex/gender freely. I think in Player of Games there is one person known for switching to female and having a kid every ten years or so. Having lots of kids also frowned upon.

You'll get nowhere because of the Border search exemption

On tabletop I play a Way of the Astral Self Monk with defensive duelist. I thought I'd try that in the game and switched Astarion to open hand Monk. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong but it never seems to activate.

I wanted to get an opinion on how to partition various disks. My Win 10 machine is going to Linux Mint with Win 10 ending support. I currently have three disks: SATA SSD which is the C: drive, a traditional HDD for bulk storage (D:), and a M.2 SSD for games (F:). I was looking for an opinion on how to partition the M.2 SSD. It all depends on where you install games. Should the M.2 drive be /home or something else like /opt?

This needs to be here.
