So, the time has come that people need to ask themselves: Are they willing to be associated with a fascist, in any way? If they are ok with that, why?

[–] ubergeek@lemmy.today 3 points 5 months ago (2 children)

It should be directed at those who are doing actual harm

They are doing actual harm, by not being afraid of any association, regardless of how weak, to a fascist.

afraid of what?

Afraid of being associated with a fascist.

This was funny for a minute.

It was never funny, it was, and is, just great to see.

So you do realize that a lot of people bought these well intentioned vehicles before Musk became a total fuckstick, right?

Why are they still driving them, then?

But can these people stop doing it to privately owned vehicles? And also, stop harassing the telsers on the road. I’ve seen a few videos now of drivers being harassed.

No. We need to make fascists afraid again. If you don't want to be bothered for owning a Klankar, then stop owning a Klankar.

Those are rookie numbers, we need to get them higher!

Yep. Or Gen X. Depending on who you ask.

There are some who think time is shaped like a Jeremy Bearamy...

Up until... Id say 2005 or so... using the internet, or even a computer, wasn't a requirement for a large number of jobs.

Up until around then, you could still live a very full, and productive life, without ever touching a computer (embedded doesn't count here).

That point was about just under half my life...

The summers of the 90s? I barely touched a computer, and almost never on weekends.

There has been a massive, and rapid shift in paradigm for people who lived through that gap.

That said, yes, people can keep up, but it wasn't required until it caught loads of people by surprise.

Probably a safe bet.... I feel I may be among the oldest in the crowd here, and we are a minority here.

It's a very working class ideology.

Last August, I was at a bar, and got into a convo about general politics. I avoided using leftist words, but just started talking about their paychecks, and how their boss always tries to screw them, which led to their boss having undue influence and money in politics...

Withing an hour and a half or so, everyone one in the bar was talking about the same thing: the ruling class screwing the workers.

Only two people were quite unhappy... one I know was a Reich Winger, because I helped compile a dossier on him for local activists.

Here's a kicker: You're a millenial, and yeah, us millenias had it all to ourselves, by and large, for about 10-15 years.

Remember when you can to configure Trumpet with the proper IP settings, and that was AFTER you configured your modem's DMAs and IRQ's (Unless it was an external serial modem...)
