Someone called out that this is literally the brand from 1984.

Cats get rid of mice just by existing. We had a mouse problem when we moved in. The cats never once killed a mouse. We no longer have mice (in the house). Mice are always outside so maybe your neighbor just doesn’t like that?

They didn’t brick anything. They gave a button for you to get a discount if you did it yourself

These magnificent qualities did not prevent that in 1994, when the weapon was going to be transported to Singapore for an exhibition, a worker accidentally struck the case and caused a seven-millimeter crack in the sword. Since then, it has been forbidden to take it out of the country, and it has only been moved to transfer it from the National Palace Museum in Taipei, where it was originally held, to the Hubei Provincial Museum.

Dang that sucks

If you’re going to hack a landmine to disable it then the same end result occurs. The landmine is no longer dangerous and the original comment is scaremongering. Either it’s hacked to be disabled to help the Russians or it can’t be hacked and will be disabled when the defenders want to. Both cases end in disarming. The worst would be if they somehow cannot be disabled, but even then, tracking systems have massively improved since the horrors of the past. They’d know exactly where they are and those countries are rich enough to get rid of them with equipment. The worst cases have occurred from invading countries placing landmines in locations that the eventual citizens are in danger from them.

In any case, the linked post was clearly being brigaded by tankies thinking that Russia can hack anything.

Haha yep, I’m in Colorado and when I kept hearing the same bird but seeing different versions I was always confused. I saw the pink sided up in the mountains this weekend and the same thing happened.

there's also the cismontanus subspecies in BC. https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Dark-eyed_Junco/photo-gallery/66115761. and its map

and the pink sided subspecies, but it doesn't look that similar, just has the hood. photo map

the Oregon Junco can be found all over the US and Canada though. https://ebird.org/map/orejun

I didn’t really understand it at first, because clearly military devices do not function anything like an IoT device. Then numerous comments started suggesting that Russia would just hack the land mines and so clearly they should be hacking all the drones as well, but that sure doesn’t seem to be happening. Then I got dog piled on and was like “wtf it’s happening” and took a look at the instance and the users and it became clear.

You have a problem dude. You can’t even form coherent sentences, much less come up with an argument that works for yourself much less the majority of people on earth.

Your logic gets more and more obtuse. You want to go outside, but you want to avoid the sun, you want to do activities outside, but only in a two hour timespan (completely ignoring commuting and that many activities take longer than that). You talk about heat stroke like it’s happening to every single person who goes outside.

Not everyone lives like you. Im gonna use the only time it feels nice to go outside to go outside, instead of rotting in bed forever.

This comment makes even less sense. You want to be outside, but you don’t want sun, but you want to sleep when it’s 8 pm, but that’s the coolest time of the day if it’s not dst. Like seriously, none of your argument makes sense. And fyi, I spend the majority of my day outside. Even working from home, I’ll work in a hammock outside. But I’m also not the average person. The average person commutes to a location to work and then has to come back home, get ready for their activities and then go from there. All of your suggestions are completely at odds with that.

And fyi, shade exists. This is honestly one of the most troll conversations I’ve ever participated in, acting like the sun burns you the second you step outside and you want to be outside without the sun. If you want to be outside without the sun then go out when it’s dark. You can wake up at your normal 5am time and get a great amount of dark cool weather. And the rest of us can live normally.
