Only the actual bullies get the real rewards in life. There is no exception to that rule at all.
I don't feel that way about it anymore. A great culture? Not so much. The country is filthy. People hang their laundry all over the fucking place. They live in dirt farms. It was ugly and unclean. And people there spit all the time to get the filth of pollution out of their lungs.
I've been to open sewers in Mexico that had more beauty in them than the entire nation of China. It's a cesspool.
Who was placing any blame? I'm glad we did those things, whether it was the country or the continent or the whole damn fucking world, it needed to be done.

Yeah, truth. Nobody has complete freedom in a world of other people. I don't get to run around being an ax murderer, for example (not that I want to be). There are plenty of guardrails and rules and laws, many for good reason.
