Fuck these guys.
Sincerely impressed by the Series S performance
That's a silly excuse. At roughly $20 / TB, a 150gb game shouldn't be an issue
Sad to see a developer go but Saints Row was a cringefest.
Lightyears away from Descent
We have these obligatory online seminars about web security /privacy at work.
Turns out that for some reason, with Privacy Badger enabled, they appear as "passed" instantly. I never saw a single second of these endless seminars.
I tried to tell the IT guy but he couldn't care less and I suspect he didn't even know what Privacy Badger actually is
I sincerely didn't know broadband Internet data caps were still a thing in 2023
Don't worry it'll be available in subsequent GOTY / Legendary / Ultimate / Definitive editions for the next 20 years 💀💀💀
They've been staying in an illegal airbnb that had absolutely no windows. I hope the guy who rented the thing rot in a prison cell for 25 years
I'm so happy for these guys. Can't wait until tomorrow to finally play the game!
They wouldn't have sent reviewers copies of the game two weeks in advance if it was as bad as you make it sound like.
Review embargos = game bad
Review copies sent 2-3 weeks before actual release date AND no review embargos = game good
Remember FO76
Plus: the release schedule for Starfield (deluxe version 6 days ahead of the regular version) would be a death sentence if the game was actually bad
But, most importantly: NEVER PRE-ORDER A VIDEOGAME
There's your problem. Hiring an entire team for 6+ years and then cancelling the project. That's hundreds of thousands, if not millions, down the drain.
The current AA / AAA gamedev industry isn't sustainable
